Lighting Installation & Upgrades
Chavez Electric upgrades light fixtures and designs lighting that suits your home, from chandeliers and pendants to recessed cans, dimmers, and outdoor security lighting. We plan the circuit before the fixture goes up, so every switch does exactly what you expect.

Ceiling Fan Installation
In Louisiana heat, a good ceiling fan earns its keep. We install fans on properly rated boxes and braces so they run quiet and stay put, add circuits where there is no fixture, and set up wall controls or remotes.

EV Charger Installation
We install Level 2 EV charging stations at homes and businesses, sized correctly for your panel and vehicle. That means the dedicated circuit, the mounting, and the final connection, so you charge safely and at full speed every night.

Generator Installation & Backup Power
Hurricane season is a fact of life here. We install standby and portable generator hookups so the lights, the fridge, and the sump pump keep running through an outage, with the transfer switch sized to your panel and a walkthrough before we leave.

Smoke & CO Detector Installation
We install smoke and carbon monoxide alarms where they belong: every bedroom, hallway, and level. Interconnected units sound together, so the whole house knows at once, and we test the system before we close out the job.

Whole-Home Surge Protection
Gulf Coast storms and utility switching can send damaging spikes down the line. A surge protector at the panel guards your AC, appliances, and electronics in one install, instead of relying on power strips.
